International Cobalt Corp (CSE:CO) (OTCMKTS:COBAF) said Tuesday that it has completed a 2,100-meter diamond drilling program to test for cobalt and copper mineralization at the company's Ramsay project in New Brunswick.

The Vancouver-based company said in a press release that the first six holes all intercepted mineralized intervals visually consistent with core descriptions reported in 2004 from the nearby Malachite zone.

The company added that the intervals represent potential extensions of the Malachite zone over a strike length of 200 meters and to a down-hole depth of 350 meters. Tests are pending on 665 samples representing 770 meters of core submitted for analysis, according to International Cobalt.

The 8,000-hectare (20,000-acre) Ramsay project is at the Bathurst mining camp in northern New Brunswick, straddling Highway 180, locally known as the "Road to Resources."

Shares of International Cobalt traded at C$0.05 in Monday’s Canadian trading and US$0.04 on the OTC Markets.
