BigDish Plc (LON:DISH) shares jumped in early trading on Tuesday after it partnered up with award-winning digital advertiser Loud Mouth Media to help drive brand awareness and app usage across the UK.
The firm, whose platform helps restaurants fill empty tables, said Loud Mouth would gather data from consumer marketing campaigns over the second quarter of the year to help determine the most effective channels for marketing as well as customer acquisitions costs and profit potential which would allow for “more effective forecasting and business planning”.
The agency would also work with its Google support team to drive campaign performance, app promotion, and awareness of the BigDish brand in the UK.
Loud Mouth, which specialises in social media advertising and search engine optimisation (SEO), has held the title of Best Small Pay-per-click (PPC) Agency in the UK for two consecutive years.
BigDish also said that it had launched its platform in Southampton, having targeted a March launch date in an update at the end of February, with more restaurants continuing to be added.
The company now expects to expand into a third territory, starting in Brighton, in April or May while also considering a launch in Essex, part of its second territory, in the same period.
The group's new website, also announced in February, is on target to go live at the end of March.
Sanj Naha, chief executive of BigDish, said the pace of new restaurants joining the platform was expected to “gather pace as we grow”, with the Loud Mouth partnership forming a “key part” of its strategy to launch consumer marketing initiatives.
“Everything we have done at BigDish over recent months has been focused on moving towards the goal of building a launchpad to enable rapid growth across the UK."
