Braingrid adds two members to its customer solutions team

Braingrid provides a sensor platform that tracks micro-climate data, particularly for cannabis growers

Braingrid Limited (CNSX:BGRD) announced a pair of new additions to its commercial team on Tuesday.

Marc Sidhom joined the precision agriculture company as director of sales and marketing, and Mariam Bastawrous was named head of sales. Both have been in their roles since March.

Shares grew 8.7% to $0.13 in midday trading.

Sidhom is an entrepreneur with international sales, marketing and operations experience. His entrepreneurship and knowledge of sales pipelines is expected to help the company expand its analytics services within the horticulture industry.

Bastawrous’s role includes working with growers to develop custom data analytics for their plants. Before joining Braingrid, she worked as regional sales manager at Amico Group in Richmond Hill, Ontario. She also has experience in the lighting applications industry and earned a biology degree from York University.
