XTEK receives $2.1 million order for x-ray equipment and training

The company supplies a range of products and support services to the defence, law enforcement and government sectors globally.

XTEK Ltd (ASX:XTE) has received an order from the Australian Defence Force (ADF) valued at $2.1 million for x-ray equipment and training.

The equipment consists of advanced, portable, lightweight x-ray image capture units used to obtain near real-time imaging in a variety of applications.

This follows on from an international order earlier this month for XTEK’s proprietary XTatlas software technology

XTEK’s managing director Philippe Odouard said: “XTEK has been supplying X-Ray equipment to law enforcement agencies and Defence for many years, primarily in support of homeland security - explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) and improvised explosive device disposal (IEDD).

“Having built strong relationships with various original equipment manufacturers, XTEK continues to provide state of the art equipment in this space.

“These recent orders for X-Ray equipment are testament to the world class products and solutions that XTEK provides.”

In February the company reaffirmed its 2018-19 financial year guidance of $20 million to $30 million, after record December 2018 half-year revenues of $8.4 million.
