About the company

One World Lithium Inc is an exploration company focused on lithium in brine projects and new lithium separation technologies. OWL has the right to own 100% of the separation technology, subject to a positive proof of concept program. OWL has earned a 60% property interest in the Salar del Diablo property, located in the State of Baja California, Mexico. Upon completion of a three phase drill program, OWL will earn an additional 20% property interest and has an option to purchase a further 10% property interest for a total of a 90% property interest in the 103,450 hectare (399 square mile) Salar del Diablo lithium brine project.

How it is doing

13 Mar 2024

One World Lithium Inc. (CSE:OWLI, OTCQB:OWRDF), the mining exploration company, has received a one-year extension of its non-exclusive research and evaluation license with the US Department of Energy.

Granted by the energy department’s National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), One World Lithium will see the license extended to March 1 2025 for the patent titled “Selective Lithium Recovery as Lithium Carbonate from natural brine”.

“We are pleased to have signed a one-year extension with NETL. The extension will allow One World Lithium and NETL to evaluate commercial applications of the DOE’s two patents for Lithium Carbonate Extraction,” president and chief executive Doug Fulcher said.

In September last year, the Canadian company entered into a definitive agreement with MatterGreen LLC in which the latter will assign two patent applications for lithium carbonisation.

28 Nov 2023

One World Lithium Inc. (CSE:OWLI, OTCQB:OWRDF) said it has successfully validated its advanced carbonation extraction technology through bench testing.

The technology quickly, cost-effectively, and environmentally extracts lithium while simultaneously producing lithium carbonate directly in a brine through advanced carbonation, aiming to reduce environmental impact by eliminating the need for common consumables in traditional extraction and mineralization practices.

23 Oct 2023

One World Lithium Inc. (CSE:OWLI, OTCQB:OWRDF) announced that per its previously announced agreement with MatterGreen (MG), MG has commenced a bench test of One World’s lithium carbonation extraction technology.

The company said the bench test will be used as a proof of concept of its novel technology to selectively extract lithium from natural brines.
