Ascent Industries Corp (CSE:ASNT) (OTCMKTS:PGTMF) reported promising news Friday that it has received approval to continue operations under its existing license following a Clark County, Nevada hearing.
In February, the company's wholly owned subsidiary, Sweet Cannabis, received notice from Clark County's Department of Business License that its master marijuana license may be suspended or not renewed.
The company said it is grateful for the transparency, responsiveness and professionalism of Clark County, its process and staff.
“We are absolutely committed to adhering to all regulatory requirements as efforts continue to advance plans to expand our operations in Nevada” said CEO Paul Dillman.
The company noted it looks forward to working with the regulators and officials to comply with all regulatory guidelines.
The company noted an administrative review will be conducted by the Clark Country’s Department of Business License on September 26, as the last step in the process.
