Royal Road Minerals Limited (CVE:RYR) announced Friday that it has strengthened its executive team on Friday with the appointment of Aamer Siddiqui as the junior explorer’s new chief financial officer.
Siddiqui has a depth of experience in accounting, regulatory compliance and management advisory services to publicly-listed companies. He was most recently manager at Marelli Support Services Inc, a Toronto-based advisory firm.
In a statement, Royal Roads CEO Dr Timothy Coughlin said the company had worked with the team at Marrelli in the past and is pleased to be working with them once again.
“We welcome Aamer to the Royal Road Minerals team and look forward to working with him,” Coughlin told investors.
Royal Road is currently advancing the high-grade Golondrina mine development project in Nariño province of southern Colombia.
It recently closed a deal to acquire a portfolio of Colombian assets from major mining company AngloGold Ashanti.
