Location Sciences Group PLC (LON:LSAI) shares bounced on Monday after appointing a media trading veteran to advise on the growth strategy for Verify, its independent location verification platform.
The data and analytics firm said it had appointed Andy Roberts, the former global head of trading at MindShare, a subsidiary of FTSE 100 media giant WPP PLC (LON:WPP).

Roberts, who served in the role at MindShare for eight years before joining Location’s advisory board, has worked in the media trading industry for over 40 years and helped develop strategies on tackling digital fraud and contextual brand safety as well as working with companies including Unilever plc (LON:ULVR), BP PLC (LON:BP.) and Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB).
The company said the addition of Roberts to the panel would help the team bring “greater transparency” to location data and identify new opportunities to expand its product portfolio.
"We are very proud to have Andy join our advisory team, bringing a new level of knowledge to the company”, said Location chief executive Mark Slade.
"We will be able to draw on his experiences working in the digital media landscape and engaging with global agencies," he added.
In mid-morning, the shares were 5% higher at 4.5p.
