Acasti Pharma Inc (NASDAQ:ACST) (CVE:ACST) stock is on the rise, but it isn’t because a capital raise is in the works. The biopharmaceutical company refuted the notion Thursday that any corporate developments were behind a recent uptick in both share price and trading volume. Since July 17, its share price has jumped from $1.37 to $2.34, and its average volume is up to nearly 6 million compared to its three month average of 1.1 million.

Braingrid Limited (CSE:BGRD) announced that it has issued common shares in satisfaction of fees owned to consultants providing business development and CFO consulting assistance and to employees as retention bonuses. The company said it had issued a total of 960,000 common shares at a deemed price of $0.05 per share in settlement of a total of $48,000 in bonus payments to such employees.

Pressure BioSciences Inc (OTCMKTS:PBIO) has won the first customer for its water-soluble CBD manufacturing system, the BaroShear K45, it announced Thursday. The BaroShear K45 system is based on the company’s Ultra Sheer Technology platform, which applies high-pressure much greater than 20,000 pounds per square inch to create nano-scale emulsion mixtures of otherwise immiscible fluids — like oils and water — that results in stable homogenized products called nanoemulsions.

Heritage Cannabis Holdings Corp (CSE:CANN) (OTCMKTS:HERTF) announced Thursday it will supply Cronos Group Inc (NASDAQ:CRON) with packaged cannabis vaporizer devices for the Canadian adult-use and medical markets. Under the contract manufacturing agreement, Heritage will provide extract, fill and package vape devices for the Spinach and PEACE NATURALS brands, utilizing multiple proprietary formulations provided by Cronos.

EnWave Corp (CVE:ENW) (OTCMKTS:NWVCF) said Thursday that it has inked a royalty-bearing commercial license agreement that will see Electric Farms LLC use its proprietary Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV) dehydration technology for drying industrial hemp. Established in 2018, Electric Farms cultivates high-quality hemp flower in both indoor and outdoor facilities in Tennessee.

Arizona Silver Exploration Inc. (TSX-A:AZS) said its cash balance increased by $1,684 over the nine month period to 31 May 2019, primarily due to the company closing two separate private placements for gross proceeds of $528,763, offset by exploration and evaluation expenditure of $255,238 and cash outflow for operating activities of $166,584.

Social Life Network Inc (OTCMKTS:WDLF) subsidiary MjLink.com Inc is taking its show on the road to Beverly Hills. The conference will be held on October 16 at the Sofitel Hotel. Like its New York predecessor, the Beverly Hills MjMicro Conference will consist of talks  from cannabis company executives and give investors the chance to get their questions answered.

Nabis Holdings Inc. (OTCMKTS:NABIF) said its share purchase warrants and 8% unsecured convertible debentures have been approved for listing. Each warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one common share in the company on payment of the exercise price of $1.10, before the time of expiry.

CytoDyn Inc (OTCMKTS:CYDY), a late-stage biotechnology company developing leronlimab (PRO 140) as a monotherapy for HIV patients, said Thursday that it had completed a key test which would “guide” discussions with the US Food and Drug Administration on leronlimab as a single treatment for HIV.  In the HIV and AIDS setting, leronlimab acts as a viral-entry inhibitor; it masks CCR5, thus protecting healthy T cells from viral infection by blocking the predominant HIV (R5) subtype from entering those cells.

Namaste Technologies Inc (CVE:N) (OTCMKTS:NXTTF), the online cannabis retailer, has agreed in principle to settlements in the securities class actions levied against it in 2018. Payments have been set at US$2.15 million for the Canadian settlement and $2.75 million for the US one, of which Namaste will contribute less than $500,000. The payments themselves do not constitute any admission of liability. The lawsuits originated in October, alleging that Namaste had made false or misleading statements about the sale of its US subsidiary to an executive of the company.

Osino Resources Corp (CVE:OSI), the Namibian-focused exploration company, told shareholders on Thursday that it had confirmed a new gold mineralization zone at its Twin Hills project in the southern African country. The new zone lies 1.5 kilometres west of the Twin Hills Central mineralization that Osino discovered in April and covers a 1 kilometre strike length.

Japan Gold Corp (CVE:JG) (OTCMKTS:JGLDF) announced Thursday that it has kicked off a new drilling program at the company’s Ikutahara project in Hokkaido, Japan. The new drill program will focus on the Kitano-o prospect, a large swath of land that houses six historic gold mines which produced over 96,000 ounces of gold averaging a grade of 5.9 grams per ton.

Fireweed Zinc Ltd (CVE:FWZ) is making good progress at the Macmillan Pass project in Yukon, where it has completed drilling 12 holes and is 80% complete on an airborne topographic survey, it said today, adding that mapping and sampling were continuing.

NexTech AR Solutions Corp (CSE:NTAR) (OCTMKTS:NEXCF), which has seen growth accelerate, has expanded its management team with the hiring of two seasoned eCommerce managers, the company announced Thursday. Cannvas MedTech Inc has raised C$506,000 million after closing on the second tranche of a non‑brokered private placement. The Toronto-based cannabis education and analytics company issued a total of 2.53 million units at a price of C$0.20 per unit. On July 16, Cannvas raised C$1 million after closing on the first tranche. The company intends to use the proceeds for developing technology platforms and general working capital.

Universal mCloud Corp. (TSX-V:MCLD) (OTCQB:MCLDF) a leading provider of asset management solutions combining IoT, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and analytics, said it will report its earnings for the second quarter 2019 before the market opens on Thursday, August 15, 2019.
