The 6 W’s: Who, what, where, when, why and what of it
Yes, 800,000 government workers are off the job, yes, national landmarks are closed to the public, yes, Congress is acting like a bunch of spoiled children, and yes, the hand-wringing continues with talking heads saying the government shutdown will end in a couple of days to a couple of weeks. In the end, who knows? Que sera sera, whatever will be will be.
For RegMed investors, take a second before making a trade to ask yourself if your move is based on sound data or unreasonable emotion. RegMed companies will not show their news and information hand in competition with the government shutdown story. As I said yesterday, you might find some buys over the next few trading sessions when nerves of tin foil rule.
