Richard Hunter, head of research at Wilson King Investment Management speaks to Proactive about the companies hit by Brexit six weeks on from the historic referendum.
“The actual ramifications might take five years, one thing we can say for sure is that there will be volatility along the way,” he says.
“It’s the calm before the storm at the moment,” he adds, but it is still too early to tell.
“When we start to see some actual rather than anecdotal evidence then we can start to dissect it properly.”
Hunter also discusses the companies to watch, and ones ultimately tipped to benefit from the vote to leave.
Fortunately, he believes there is “absolutely no” evidence the UK is going into recession, but the uncertainty is likely to continue for some considerable time.
