Baker Steel Resources investing for long-term in projects with excellent upside potential

Baker Steel Resources Trust Limited's (LON:BSRT) Trevor Steel and Francis Johnstone tell Proactive the advantage of the trust is that it's a permanent capital vehicle - so they can invest in projects which may take some time to develop but will provide excellent upside potential.

''We're looking to make two to three times on a typical investment'', Trevor Steel says.

He adds: ''Overall it's a potential high return vehicle but investing in a part of the market which is difficult for most investors to access -
the pre-IPO, the private space in mining''.

''What we ideally look for is a large potentially world-class project in a nice, safe jurisdiction ... we are looking for projects which could either be bought by a major company or take them through to IPO'', says Francis Johnstone
