Applied Minerals Inc (OTCQB:AMNL) CEO Andre Zeitoun tells Proactive Investors the halloysite clay producer is looking to commercialize the mineral for the use in lithium-ion batteries.

Zeitoun says the clay exhibits a naturally occurring nano-tube that has attracted interest from some 'major players' in the space.

Zeitoun says the company's mine in Utah his the largest and only source of pure halloysite clay in the world.
