Jindalee Resources' metallurgical work indicates McDermitt lithium amenable to acid leaching

Jindalee Resources Ltd (ASX:JRL) managing director Pip Darvall updates Proactive Investors on the company's positive lithium extraction metallurgy at its McDermitt Lithium Project in the US.

"The testing we've been doing has all been about how amenable the material is for the lithium to be leached out of the rock," says Darvall.

He continues, "We're very pleased with the results ... the testing has shown that yes, it is relatively easy to extract the lithium and testing is continuing."

More than 90% of the available lithium reported to the leach solution in four hours, and 97% lithium extraction was achieved after 11 hours while consuming 506 kilograms of sulphuric acid per tonne of ore.
