The housing boom does not seem to have been of much help to Carpetright, the floor coverings seller that issues full-year results on Tuesday.
The company issued a profit warning at the time of its fourth quarter trading update, which saw brokers lop 36% off full-year profit expectations.
The market is expecting sales of £449mln and profit before tax of just £5.0mln, down from £9.7mln the year before.
Company founder Lord Harris is set to leave the building in September and this will be the last set of results before new chief executive officer Wilf Walsh joins next month.
Domino Printing Sciences is one of the more low profile FTSE 250 companies, but has been a solid growth stock over the years.
Broker Peel Hunt is looking for adjusted profit before tax for the year to October 2014 of £58.3mln, so Tuesday’s interims will reveal if the company is on course.
“The key drivers to the DNO investment case come to a head in 2016E and are: improving organic growth; legislative changes; and success of the digital N600i label press. We see upside to current forecasts from all of these areas,” the broker said.
