BioLargo Inc (OTCQB:BLGO), a full-service environmental engineering company, said Tuesday that it is tapping waste handling industry veteran Mitch Noto, as the company’s director of corporate development.
In a statement, the Westminster, California-based company said Noto will also serve as the director of business development at BioLargo’s industrial odor control division, Odor-No-More.
Joseph Provenzano, who is the president of Odor-No-More, said Noto’s appointment would help create awareness about the company’s odor elimination services, and drive sales of the company’s main CupriDyne Clean product, which eliminates odor-causing compounds rather than masking them.
Noto has nearly three decades of operations and environmental management experience with one of the largest US waste handling companies.
“After working with the Odor-No-More team for the past couple of years, it was clear to me that this company would continue to change the way industrial odor control can and should be done,” said Noto.
He added that he was attracted to BioLargo as it is “finding traction” and is poised for “rapid growth.”
BioLargo Inc incubates disruptive technologies and has three platforms that it has built over the last decade. It has invested nearly $22 million into clean air, clean water and advanced health care technologies.
