Allot Ltd (NASDAQ:ALLT) (TASE:ALLT) saw its shares rise on Thursday after the security and smart network intelligence solutions company revealed that Hutchison Drei Austria has launched “lnternetschutz", a security-as-a-service powered by Allot's NetworkSecure solution to protect its mobile phone and home users against cyber threats.
In late morning trade on Nasdaq, Allot shares were 6.6% higher at $7.9195.
Allot NetworkSecure is the world’s largest deployed network-based security service for the mass market with over 21 million paying security customers.
Drei, enabled by Allot’s NetworkSecure, will offer its customers a service to protect themselves against malware, phishing, ransomware, and crypto mining without subscribers actually having to download, or install anything on their devices.
Rudolf Schrefl, the chief compliance officer at Hutchison Drei said: “With our mobile users being exposed to newer, more sophisticated threats every day, they are in need of a proven security solution.”
“We are, therefore, excited to offer a secure and trusted mobile service, while also enabling parents to be worry-free about how their children are using their devices in the near future,” he added.
Allot is a provider of network intelligence and security solutions for service providers worldwide. Its solutions are deployed for network and application analytics, traffic control and shaping, and network-based security services.
The company’s multi-service platforms is used by over 500 mobile, fixed and cloud service providers and more than 1000 enterprises.
