The new products will be featured on NoJumper’s podcast, which gets 45 million viewers per stream, as well as Next Green Wave’s brand house SDC.
NoJumper is the creation of Adam John Grandmaison, better known as Adam22. The podcast has become a platform to launch up-and-coming brands from the music, art and lifestyle industries.
Vancouver-based Next Green Wave said that the partnership will enable it to gain access to major cultural events such as music festivals and leverage its many influencer and celebrity social channels to directly reach its target demographic.
"We are really thrilled about the collaboration with NoJumper as it demonstrates we are ready to permeate major consumer markets and are delivering premium craft product that is being sought out for its quality and value, which is currently lacking in the legal market in California,” Next Green Wave’s CEO Michael Jennings said in a statement.
The flower will be available at dispensaries in Los Angeles and San Diego within two weeks, according to the cannabis company.
Next Green Wave also announced it had raised C$500,000 through a non-brokered financing of 2 million units at C$0.25 per unit to accelerate inventory purchase requirements and marketing initiatives for the SDC brands.
Each unit comprised of one share and one-half of one share purchase warrant exercisable at C$0.35 for 24 months post-closing.
The warrants are subject to an acceleration provision whereby if the shares trade at C$0.50 or higher for 10 consecutive days after the hold period expires, the company has the right to accelerate the expiry date of the warrants.
Next Green Wave has a collection of high-profile partnerships with street artists, social media influencers and athletes to market its cannabis brands throughout the US.
Shares of Next Green Wave were trading at C$0.25 on Thursday morning in Toronto.
