Full interview: Gevo to lower its carbon footprint with wind turbine partnership

Gevo Inc (NASDAQ:GEVO) CEO Patrick Gruber tells Proactive the Colorado-based company has secured the supply of five megawatts of renewable electricity for its agri-energy production plant in Minnesota, from an affiliate of wind development company Juhl Energy.

Gruber says this partnership fits with its aim to claim a lower carbon intensity score under the Low Carbon Fuel Standard, as electricity generated from wind turbines would be wired directly to Gevo's agri-energy.
