Premier African Minerals Ltd - Premier African Minerals Limited chairman to step down

Premier African Minerals Limited (LON:PREM) chairman Michael Foster has stepped down as the group edges closer to manganese miner MNH Holdings.

George Roach, Premier’s chief executive, will take over as interim executive chairman, though, initially, this will be for a period of 30 days.

In July, Premier African and Cambrian agreed to make a secured loan of US$1.35mln to MNH, which operates the Otjozundu manganese mine in Namibia.

Neil Herbert, MNH’s chairman was recently appointed to the Premier board, and another representative from MNH will also join.

Elsewhere, site work has started at the RHA Tungsten Mine said Premier.
