Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd (ASX:AB1) subsidiary Stryking Entertainment has signed a licensing partnership with FC Bayern Munich to produce and distribute digital collectibles.
The digital collectibles will be based on FC Bayern players starting with stars like Manuel Neuer, Robert Lewandowski, Philippe Coutinho, and Lucas Hernández.
Stryking is working on creating a global platform for blockchain-based digital collectibles centred around popular sports licenses.
Stryking expects to announce more licencing partnerships with leading sports clubs, leagues and other sports rights holders for creating and distributing digital collectibles in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

In other news relating to the F1® Delta Time game, a digital collectible known as the Japan Edition 2019 went to auction on 14 October 2019 (yesterday).
The auction will end this Thursday 17 October 2019 at 9.00 am (GMT).
F1® Delta Time is a blockchain-based game that runs on the Ethereum blockchain.
The game centres around the collection and trading of unique cars, drivers and components – all of which exist as non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Fungible tokens (FTs) function as a currency in the game, and can be used in transactions such as paying entry fees and purchasing certain items.
The Japan Edition 2019 car is a single, one-of-a-kind official F1® digital collectible, as well as a powerful virtual racing car in the upcoming blockchain game F1® Delta Time.
