About the company

Cabral Gold Inc is a junior resource company engaged in the identification, exploration and development of mineral properties, with a primary focus on gold properties located in Brazil.  The company has a 100% interest in the Cuiú Cuiú gold district located in the Tapajós Region, within the state of Pará in northern Brazil. Two gold deposits have so far been defined at Cuiú Cuiú and contain 43-101 compliant Indicated resources of 5.9 million tons at 0.90 grams per ton (g/t) for 200,000 ounces and Inferred resources of 19.5 million tons at 1.24 g/t for 800,000 ounces.

The Tapajós Gold Province is the site of the largest gold rush in Brazil’s history producing an estimated 30 to 50 million ounces of placer gold between 1978 and 1995. Cuiú Cuiú was the largest placer gold camp in the Tapajós and produced an estimate 2Moz of placer gold historically.

Cabral Gold Inc (TSX-V:CBR) said it has reached an agreement with Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd for the purchase of a 1% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on the Cuiú Cuiú gold project.

Under the agreement, Osisko will provide a total cash consideration of US$5 million. The cash consideration will be paid in two tranches, with US$2.5 million upon closing and the remaining US$2.5 million following the registration of certain security pledges, expected in July 2023.

The royalty will apply to the area containing the existing resources of the Cuiú Cuiú gold project, as well as the surrounding land package.

This investment will enable Cabral Gold to accelerate the ongoing Prefeasibility Study being conducted by Ausenco do Brasil Eugenharia Ltda.

Cabral Gold Inc (TSX-V:CBR)’s Brazilian subsidiary has hired a firm to conduct metallurgical tests on near-surface gold-in-oxide saprolitic material from its Cuiú Cuiú project.

The company shipped samples of near-surface oxide blanket and saprolite mineralization from the MG and Central gold deposits to Testwork do Brasil for heap-leach testing, as well as engineering tests.

Cabral Gold Inc (TSX-V:CBR). announced that its Brazilian subsidiary has engaged Ausenco do Brasil Engenharia Ltda to commence a pre-feasibility study (PFS) on trial mining and leach processing of the near-surface gold-in-oxide saprolitic material at the Cuiú Cuiú project in northern Brazil.

The company said this comes after the completion of several months of internal scoping work by Cabral on the possibility of developing a trial mining operation and heap leach recovery circuit on the near-surface free digging gold-in oxide saprolitic material.

Cabral Gold CEO Alan Carter joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has released an updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Cuiú Cuiú project in Brazil. Carter telling Proactive the Indicated Resource has increased from a total of 171,000 oz to 604,000oz which accounts for a 253% increase. All Indicated Resources and 84% of the Inferred Resource are contained within the MG and Central/CN deposits. Carter also said de feels the project has more as the PDM and Machichie targets are not included in these new numbers and more drilling is expected to get them to a point where they can be included.
