Arecor appoints new vice president for business development

Jim MacDonald-Clink will be responsible for extending and expanding areas of growth

Arecor Limited has appointed Jim MacDonald-Clink as its vice president for business development with immediate effect.

The privately-owned biopharmaceutical company said in a statement that MacDonald-Clink, who previously worked at independent firms network Mundipharma, will be responsible for extending and expanding areas of growth for the group.

It noted that MacDonald-Clink has over 25 years of experience in various roles in research & development, medical and commercial functions, as well as acquisition, licensing and strategic partnering initiatives in specialist therapy areas.

“We are delighted to welcome Jim to Arecor at a pivotal time in our evolution,” Arecor’s chief executive Sarah Howell said in the statement

“Jim will play a key role in delivering our strategic business development plans as we strive to meet our ambitious goal of transforming patient care by bringing innovative medicines to market using our Arestat technology," she added.
