() has raised £450,000 in a share subscription from two existing shareholders to boost its working capital reserves.
The graphene technology specialist raised the funds by issuing 22.5mln new shares at a price of 2p each, a 25% premium to its close price last Friday.
“We are pleased to have received such strong support from two of our existing shareholders who truly believe in the progress Haydale is making on its commercialisation journey”, said Haydale chairman David Banks.
“The additional funds from the subscription enable our Executive Team to move forward with additional confidence", he added.
In mid-afternoon trading on Monday, Haydale’s shares were 12.5% higher at 1.8p.
