New Pacific Metals Corp (CVE:NUAG) announced Thursday that it has granted an aggregate total of 1,064,600 restricted share units to certain eligible participants under the company's share based compensation plan. The RSUs have a term of two years and will vest on the basis of 25% on each of the 6, 12, 18 and 24 month anniversary of the grant date. Each RSU entitles the recipient to receive one common share in the capital of the company at the time of vesting. The plan was approved by the shareholders, including on a disinterested basis, at its most recent annual general meeting and remains subject to the final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Golden Arrow Resources Corporation (CVE:GRG) (OTCMKTS:GARWF) reported more positive exploration findings from its Tierra Dorada gold project in Paraguay, where it has identified a new high grade vein. Mapping and sampling at the Alvaro target, one of four previously-identified targets, identified a new quartz vein prospect 250 metres northwest and parallel to a known prospect, the company said in a statement. A grab chip sample returned over 47 grams per ton  (g/t) gold, it added. "Our mapping and sampling of the known target led to the understanding that it was actually two significant parallel gold-bearing vein structures," said Brian McEwen, Golden Arrow's vice-president (VP) of exploration and development.

BioLargo Inc (OTCMKTS:BLGO), an environmental engineering company and sustainable products developer, was named the "Cleantech Company of the Year” for 2019 by Sustain SoCal, a cleantech industry advocacy group in California. The award was presented to BioLargo on Wednesday night at Sustain SoCal’s annual holiday gathering. “BioLargo exemplifies a technology company paving the way toward solutions to environmental issues. We are proud and delighted to give this award to BioLargo for its hard work addressing serious sustainability challenges,” said Sustain SoCal President Scott Kitcher. Westminster, California-based BioLargo has developed several innovative and patented products targeted at three markets: water and wastewater treatment, industrial odor and volatile organic compounds (VOC) elimination, and advanced wound care.

VolitionRx Limited (NYSEAMERICAN:VNRX) announced Thursday that it and Gyros Protein Technologies AB have been awarded more than $1 million to collaborate on developing a lung cancer blood test. VolitionRx will receive $820,000 (€740,000) and Gyros Protein Technologies, now part of Mesa Laboratories Inc (NASDAQ:MLAB), will get $230,000 (€206,000) in the form of a non-repayable Eurostars cash grant, according to a statement. The grant proceeds are to be used towards the development of novel, high sensitivity assays and a validated panel ready for regulatory trials through the combination of VolitionRx’s propriety Nu.QTM platform and Gyros Protein Technologies' Gyrolab technology. The resulting blood-based test will be used for triaging individuals testing positive in Low Dose CT lung cancer screening.

Exploration group Tocvan Ventures Corp (CNSX:TOC) said its shares are now trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange - one of the world's largest trading centers and Germany's largest exchange. The firm said it hopes the listing will help increase trading liquidity and allow investment into the company by institutional and retail investors across Europe. "Having recently completed a transaction with Colibri Resource Corp to earn up to a 100% interest in the Pilar Gold property located in The Sonora State of Mexico, the company is pleased to be listed on the FSE, and is undertaking a number of initiatives to explain the company's potential for large economic discoveries to wider base of potential retail and institutional investors," it said in a brief statement.

RYAH Medtech Inc revealed Thursday that the company’s dose-measuring dry herb inhaler has passed key medical device compliance tests. In a statement, the privately-owned New York-based company said it cleared the CE-RED NB and IEC 60601 medical device safety tests, which constitute technical standards for the safety and performance of medical electrical equipment, published by the International Electrotechnical Commission.

NexTech AR Solutions Corp (OTCMKTS:NEXCF) (CSE:NTAR) has beefed up its deal with gun manufacturer Walther Arms, the company famous for creating James Bond's Walther PPK. Walther has used NexTech’s AR e-commerce solution since April, which turns 2D images into 3D interactive assets that customers can view in their web browser.

Royal Road Minerals Limited (CVE:RYR) announced Thursday that it received approval from authorities in Colombia to progress with drilling on its Guintar and Niverengo concessions in the South American country. The two concessions total just over 2,250 hectares in the Anza mining district near Medellin and were acquired as part of Royal Road’s earlier acquisition of Northern Colombia Holdings Limited, an AngloGold Ashanti affiliate. Royal Road told shareholders that it believes potential exists for higher-grade, bulk tonnage targets at depth.

Great Bear Resources Ltd (CVE:GBR) (OTCMKTS:GTBDF) has expanded its already large drill program at the exciting Dixie project in Red Lake Ontario, adding another 110,000 metres (m) to bring it up to 200,000 m, which it aims to have completed by the end of next year.  "We are about to undertake one of Canada's largest gold-focused exploration drill programs in 2020 ..." noted Chris Taylor, CEO of Great Bear.  Adding to the current 90,000 m program, the company remains fully-funded and has a 2020 budget of C$21 million.

Nemaura Medical Inc (NASDAQ:NMRD), the maker of the SugarBEAT continuous glucose monitor, has launched a new app to help patients prevent and reverse Type 2 diabetes. The digital health offering, BEAT diabetes, encourages beneficial behavioral change through a range of monitoring and coaching services. The full range of subscription-based services includes an app that makes lifestyle recommendations based on blood glucose levels, offers one-on-one coaching and routinely measures other parameters that allow improved disease management.

West African-focused gold firm Thor Explorations Ltd (CVE:THX) announced Thursday that it closed C$15.8 million in financing to progress its flagship Segilola project towards construction. Segilola comprises a high-grade gold resource of 556,000 ounces grading 4.3 grams per ton (g/t) in the Indicated category, with an additional 305,000 ounces at 4.7 g/t in the Inferred category. Nearly US$6.8 million of the proceeds came courtesy of Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), which helps to fund infrastructure projects on the continent.

Progressive Planet Solutions Inc (CVE:PLAN), the zeolite-focused mining group, told investors it plans to proceed with a 3:1 share consolidation and then a private placing to raise C$420,000.  The placing will consist of 3.5 million so-called "hard dollar" units and 3 million 'flow-through' units, the firm said in a statement. The 'flow-through' units of the announced placing will be offered at C$0.07 each, the firm said, with each consisting of one share issued on a 'flow-through' basis and one warrant exercisable at C$0.075 for six months. The use of proceeds from the flow-through units will be on exploration of the Z2 project near Falkland, the company said, while the 'hard dollar' units will be offered at $0.06 a throw, with each unit comprising one share and one warrant exercisable at $0.075 for six months. Proceeds from the 'hard dollar' units will be for general working capital, and to repay unsecured indebtedness owing by the firm to David Richardson, a non-arm's length party, who holds over 10% of the company's shares.

TruTrace Technologies Inc (CVE:TTT) (OTCMKTS:BKKSF), the developer of the first blockchain platform to track intellectual property in the cannabis sector, said CEO Robert Galarza will speak at the two-day CBD Expo WEST conference in San Diego, California starting on December 5. Galarza will speak at the "IP Freely: Protecting Your Intellectual Property" panel where panelists will examine why it's so important to track data for cannabis plant DNA. "This event is a great opportunity to exchange ideas with manufacturers and other stakeholders,” said Galarza. HighGold Mining Inc (CVE:HIGH) announced Thursday that it closed a C$9.3 million financing in the form of a bought deal private placement.
The offering consisted of 1,280,000 shares issued on a flow-through basis at C$1.80 per share for C$2.3 million, with the remaining 5.6 million shares issued at C$1.25. 
Proceeds from the financing will be used to advance the exploration firm’s portfolio of North American mineral projects, including the flagship Johnson Tract gold project in Alaska.

FSD Pharma Inc (CSE:HUGE) (OTCMKTS:FSDDF), the cannabinoid treatment focused group, said that Edward Brennan, the president of its BioSciences division, will be at the LD Micro Main Event Investor conference on Wednesday, December 11. Hillcrest Petroleum Ltd (CVE:HRH) (OTCMKTS:HLRTF), the Western Canada-focused oiler, revealed it has closed a private placement to bring in C$628,333.38 at C$0.03 a unit. Each unit consists of one share and one share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional share at a price of C$0.05 per warrant share for a period of one year from the closing of the offering. The proceeds will be used to pay aged outstanding accounts payable of C$539,500, and the remaining proceeds of up to C$60,500 will be used for general working capital, Vancouver-headquartered group earlier told investors.

OTC Markets Group Inc (OTCMKTS:OTCM) announced VIQ Solutions Inc (CVE:VQS) (OTCMKTS:VQSLD), which uses AI-driven voice and video capture technology to securely manage digital content, upgraded to the OTCQX Best Market from the OTCQB Venture Market. "The company's graduation to the OTCQX Best Market marks an important milestone, as OTCQX provides companies with a transparent, cost-effective public market to enhance visibility,” said Jason Paltrowitz, EVP of corporate services at OTC Markets Group.

BioLargo Inc (OTCMKTS:BLGO) will be presenting at the 12th annual LD Micro Main Event, held December 10-12 at the Luxe Sunset Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles.
