The cannabis software firm BioTrack, a subsidiary of Helix Technologies Inc (OTCMKTS:HLIX) has made another advance, with news that it has completed its SOC2 Type II audit.
The audit of its software system and controls, offers some proof that its controls are designed according to standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

“SOC2 is considered a technical audit, but it goes beyond that by requiring companies to establish and follow strict information security policies and procedures, encompassing the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy of customer data,” said David Terrell, chief technology officer of Helix Technologies in a statement.
The SOC2 Type II report was issued by KirkpatrickPrice, a licensed CPA firm.
