The new user engagement and retention features allow businesses to utilize key performance indicators by creating specific segments of users, calculating approximate audience sizes and building cross-platform campaigns.
"With the release of these features, marketers will be able to easily target and adjust specific user segments created automatically through user behavior," EVP of Product and Engineering Matt Lindenberger said in a statement. "They will also have the ability to use these segments to engage, re-engage and retain app users through mobile engagement campaigns configured on our MaaS platform."
The user segment options include the ability to measure daily and monthly active users, users with above or below average screen views, users that frequently re-engage and churned users who have not returned for a certain segment of time.
The cross-platform campaign capabilities allow companies to create campaigns within two apps, saving marketers money and time.
