The Global X Lithium ETF was up 8.61% overnight as positive sentiment for lithium increases

European Lithium Ltd (ASX:EUR) (FRA: PF8) (VSE: ELI) has successfully listed 263.4 million options on the ASX exercisable at 10 cents expiring June 30, 2020.

The options are expected to commence trading today, or shortly thereafter, under the ASX code ‘EURO’.

The listing of the options is timely with the Global X Lithium ETF finishing up 8.61% overnight; one of its largest-ever daily gains.

Notably, the recent gains in global lithium-related stocks are an indicator of the building positive sentiment in the sector.

European Lithium’s chairman Tony Sage said: “This is great news for the company as it gives a huge amount of flexibility to investors, competitors, suppliers and potential offtake partners, to accumulate an interest in the company at a lower cost.”
