Ironbark now retains a single Greenland licence covering Citronen and three licences in New South Wales

Ironbark Zinc Limited (ASX:IBG) has appointed Jonathan Whyte to the role of company secretary with effect from February 10, 2020.

Whyte is a chartered accountant with extensive corporate, company secretarial and financial accounting experience for listed resource companies.

He replaces Rob Orr who has served as company secretary and chief financial officer for more than 10 years.

Major shareholder purchases

Earlier this month Ironbark's major shareholder and director Danny Segman continued to show faith in the company’s base metal strategy centred on Greenland with on-market purchases.

Between January 29 and 31 the non-executive director acquired more than 3.916 million shares valued at more than $47,000 in two indirect interests – Dulyne Pty Ltd and Toronga Pty Ltd.

Of the total, Dulyne acquired a further 1 million and at the time held 67 million ordinary shares.

The remainder, more than 2.916 million, was acquired by Toronga, which at that time held almost 70 million shares.
