Integumen consortium launches new AI bacteria monitoring system; announces senior-level promotions

Integumen PLC (LON:SKIN) has unveiled the launch of a new green-tech real-time system that monitors water for bacteria contamination using artificial intelligence.

The partners in ecowaterOS are Integumen’s Rinocloud AI, Acumen Software, the Nimbus Research Centre, the Cork Institute of Technology, Cellulac, Modern Water and, the tcBB Resource Centre.

"The consortium brings together multiple partners with a combined 32 years of tried and tested engineering skillsets added to smart AI cloud-based data analytic technologies and best-in-class engineering at commercial scale across the brewing, biofuel, chemical and wastewater industries,” said Integumen’s chief executive, Gerard Brandon.  

“With rising awareness of the direct impact of climate change across the world on systems vital to our wellbeing, ecowaterOS is a global game-changer for water monitoring, recovery, treatment and recycling."

The formal unveiling of ecowaterOS, which is being developed for use by water utilities and consumers, was announced alongside two senior-level promotions.

Sales director Fin Murray becomes chief operating officer and Paul Ryan moves up to become chief sales officer.

Integumen said it is expanding the roster of sales and scientific staff as the business grows. It now has multi-national clients on four continents.
