Golden Minerals preparing to re-initiate mill processing and exploration in Mexico after June 1

Golden Minerals Company (NYSEAMERICAN:AUMN) (TSX:AUMN) CEO Warren Rehn tells Proactive the Colorado-based mining company is preparing to re-initiate exploration activities in northern Mexico and mill processing at the Velardeña mill, which is leased to Hecla Mining Company.

Rehn says the Mexican government will allow the firm to re-start operations by June 1, including mill processing on contract at Velardeña, in Durango State, as well as activities in preparation for starting its Rodeo open pit gold project in early 2021. Rodeo is also located in Durango State.
