Endeavour Mining Corporation (TSE:EDV) (OTCQX:EDVMF) announced Friday that La Mancha had now completed its US$100 million investment into the West Africa-focused miner. Endeavour issued a total of 4,507,720 shares to La Mancha for net proceeds of US$100 million as La Mancha exercised its anti-dilution right in support of Endeavour’s previously announced C$1 billion acquisition of SEMAFO. La Mancha now holds around 24.1% of Endeavour’s shares, a reduction from its previous 31% interest but allowing for a larger free float and greater liquidity in the stock, according to a statement from Endeavour.
TruTrace Technologies Inc (CSE:TTT) (OTCMKTS:TTTSF), the cannabis-focused blockchain group, has struck a software license deal with logistics group OrionOne Global Inc, which will allow it to widen its client base. OrionOne is a global supply chain provider which has developed a logistics and tracking smart-hub for navigating shipments and logistics. TruTrace said the deal would allow it to leverage the OrionOne platform to support commercialization of its core products for its customers. It not only assures the long-term functionality of StrainSecure(TM), but "we believe it will open up market opportunities for TruTrace in other key industries", Robert Galarza, CEO of TruTrace, told investors in a statement.
Empower Clinics Inc (CSE:CBDT) (OTCMKTS:EPWCF) has said demand for its services is at an 'all-time high' and it is expanding its coronavirus (COVID-19) testing days to five a week in Arizona as cases of the virus increase in the state. As previously reported, the life sciences and health group has established a four-phase antibody testing program using RAPID COVID-19 test kits to be rolled out nationally. Official data has shown that over the last seven days, nearly 25,000 positive cases of coronavirus have been reported in Arizona, representing more than 25% of the total cases in the state since the pandemic began, and total reported cases now exceed 87,000 in the state, the group noted.
First Mining Gold Corp (TSE: FF) (OTCQX:FFMGF) has now closed the three-stage US$22.5 million financing deal with shareholder First Majestic Silver Corp (TSE:FR) to advance its flagship Springpole gold project in Ontario - one of the largest undeveloped open pit projects in Canada. The proceeds will be used to advance the asset through the pre-feasibility stage (PFS) and the environmental assessment processes, the company said in a statement. First Majestic will have the right to buy 50% of the silver produced from Springpole over its life. First Majestic has paid upfront US$10 million to First Mining - US$2.5 million in cash and the remaining US$7.5 million in shares.
Australis Capital Inc (CSE:AUSA) (OTCMKTS:AUSAF) has acquired 2.9 million shares in US multi-state operator Body and Mind Inc (CSE:BAMM), the group said in a release on Friday. The Vancouver-based company acquired the shares through the conversion of unsecured debentures valued at $1.6 million at a price of C$0.55 per share. Australis converted the debentures on July 1, 2020, as part of a July 2019 conversion agreement. The debentures were acquired in a private placement from November 2018.
Tectonic Metals Inc. (CVE:TECT) said the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for expedited filing documentation relating to an acquisition agreement dated June 17, 2020, between the company and Rubicon Minerals Corp., under which the company can purchase Rubicon's data and other information derived from exploration work in the state of Alaska. In consideration, the company will issue 300,000 shares.
