NexTech AR Solutions Corp (OTCQB:NEXCF) (CSE:NTAR) announced Tuesday it will supply its InfernoAR video conferencing and virtual events platform to the National Association of Medicaid Program Integrity and the National Association of Medicaid Directors.
The company’s InfernoAR platform is capable of hosting large-scale events of up to 1 million people with virtual lobbies, live presentations and custom holographic product displays.
NexTech said it will work in partnership with ARB Meetings and Events LLC to bring the platform to the two Medicaid associations.

In a statement, Anne Balart Michaels, president-owner of ARB Meetings and Events, said she believes “this partnership will revolutionize the way people meet” and that the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is helping drive such changes.
“However, what it has done has given us a unique opportunity to explore new horizons and push the limits on how to create the elements that make in-person meetings so special in a virtual world,” she added.
NexTech AR CEO Evan Gappelberg said the biggest selling points of the InfernoAR platform are its enhanced security, amplified video and immersive augmented reality experiences.
“After we acquired InfernoAR we went to work on bringing to market not just a video conference platform, but the best and most secure platform on the market with the added feature of AR,” he added.
Gappelberg noted that the company is in the final stages of launching a new and disruptive augmented reality features embedded into InfernoAR called ScreenAR, which the company hopes will give it a competitive edge in accelerating the adoption of InfernoAR by enterprise global brands in 2020 and beyond.
The InfernoAR-video platform recently got a breakthrough in security with the help of Fastly, a computing company that brings token authentication to the edge.
Security is a core feature of InfernoAR and the platform has serviced many Fortune 500 businesses including Johnson and Johnson, Viacom, Merk and others, the company said.
Token authentication allows content delivery networks (CDNs) to reject serving videos to unauthorized users. By taking JWT authentication to the edge, security is pushed closer to the user and load is taken off the core application.
JWT authentication works by a server generating a token that certifies the user identity and sends it to the client, who will send the token back to the server for every subsequent request so the server knows the request comes from a particular identity.
