Tharisa CEO reports on 'knock-out' quarter for productivity

Tharisa PLC's (LON:THS) Phoevos Pouroulis tells Proactive London's Andrew Scott they delivered what he describes as a knock-out quarter in terms of productivity with both May and June achieving consecutive record ROM output levels. ''In a very challenging environment with the pandemic taking hold and various stringent lockdown levels that we have worked through we're very pleased with the performance''. Activities in South Africa recommenced in full at the start of May and in the three months to the end of June Tharisa produced 321.4 kilotons of chrome, up 3.6% on the prior quarter, while PGM production rose 9% to 35 kilo ounces (koz).
