Group Eleven Resources Corp (CVE:ZNG) (OTCMKTS:GRLVF) revealed that commodities and mining giant Glencore (LON:GLEN) has exercised its right to appoint a director and said it has named experienced international corporate lawyer Ken Klassen to its board.
Glencore is a strategic shareholder in the Ireland-focused zinc explorer, holding a 26.4% stake.

Prior to joining Glencore, Klassen had a 20-year career as a Canadian merger and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate lawyer at leading Canadian law firms, noted Group Eleven.
At Glencore, he was General Counsel of the firm and based in Baar, Switzerland, until retiring in 2016. He was responsible for Glencore's global legal function including a team of in-house lawyers supporting executive management, business operations and its board.
