Alpine 4 Technologies Ltd (OTCQB:ALPP) is welcoming former CEO of Impossible Aerospace, Spencer Gore as its corporate strategy consultant to help with the integration of the two companies.

Earlier this week, Alpine 4 Technologies announced it was entering the commercial drone space via a merger deal with Impossible Aerospace, which builds high-performance electric aircraft and drones.

Impossible Aerospace will become a subsidiary of Alpine 4 Technologies once the deal closes in December.

As corporate strategy consultant, Gore will help transfer Impossible Aerospace’s intellectual property and provide his expert insights into the commercial drone and battery technology markets.

Gore previously served as a battery design engineer at Tesla, where he helped to develop its long-range electric vehicle battery for the Model S. He also worked in aerospace at SpaceX and NASA.

Alpine 4 Technologies told shareholders that Gore's experience with Tesla and Space X will help Impossible Aerospace execute on the growing demand from the US Air Force for domestically made electric aircraft.

"Experience always plays well with initiative and the addition of Mr Gore to the Alpine 4 team will pay great dividends as we roll out our plans to build Impossible Aerospace into the nation’s leading electric aircraft manufacturer,” Alpine 4 Technologies CEO Kent Wilson said in a statement.

For his part, Gore said he was “thrilled” to be joining the Alpine 4 team.

“(Impossible Aerospace) has spent the past four years developing unique, defensible technology to enable drones with unrivaled performance. Now, with Alpine 4's manufacturing prowess and revenue engine, it's time to scale,” Gore said. “I am honored to be given the opportunity to help oversee Impossible's future product, technology, and business strategy, and will be there every step of the way to ensure a smooth merger of our companies."
