The company said it expects its inclusion in the prestigious program will have a positive and direct impact on accelerating commercialization efforts for its long-duration, zinc-air Energy Storage System (ESS).

Analysts at Hallgarten & Company initiated coverage on Ceylon Graphite Corp (CVE:CYL)with a positive outlook on the company’s up-and-running K1 producing mine in Sri Lanka and firming graphite prices linked to tight supply. In a note to clients, Christopher Ecclestone described the graphite producer as a “hare among the tortoises” for its quick execution. Ceylon Graphite received mining(IMLA) and environmental licenses for its K1 mine in late 2019 and achieved its first production in early 2020. “The mining license was a notable triumph as it was only the fourth one issued since the country's independence in the 1960,” wrote Ecclestone. “The company’s K1 mine is now on the fast track and then M1 should be following on with production rising incrementally in a non-market-disruptive manner.” 

CleanSpark Inc (NASDAQ:CLSK) will participate in Water Tower Research Virtual Conference and Fireside Chat series on Thursday Dec 10 at 3pm ET. CO2 GRO Inc (CVE:GROW) (OTCQB:BLONF) (FRA:4021) announced Tuesday the signing of an exclusive marketing agreement with South Africa's Pharmacrop (Pty) Ltd to introduce and install CO2 Delivery Solutions systems into covered horticulture markets in Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) region. A 2020 GreenCape Sustainable Agriculture study for the South Africa (RSA) Department of Agriculture stated there was substantial growth during 2013-2018 in covered shade netting and tunnel grow facility hectares, the company noted. Since that 2017-2018 census, an additional 2,822 hectares of shade netting grow structures have been added in RSA. RSA's covered grow market size is accelerating due to food security issues and high-value fruit and nut export opportunities. Shade netting and tunnel grow facilities cannot supplement with CO2 gassing but can apply aqueous CO2 mist using GROW's CO2 Delivery Solutions. "I was really excited to discover the benefits which GROW is able to offer Southern Africa's covered facility farmers,” said Jason Field, principal of Pharmacrop. “CO2 enrichment offers a unique opportunity for them to enhance their plant yields and increase profitability.”

Micron Waste Technologies Inc (CSE:MWM) (FRA:7FM2) reported that its wholly-owned  Micron Technologies Inc subsidiary, a manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE) in Canada, registered with the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) on June 27, 2020. Micron Waste Technologies said the US FDA registration is a “significant milestone,” as it enables Micron Technologies to sell its medical devices in the United States. It added that owners and operators of facilities that manufacture or distribute medical devices intended for use in the United States are required to register each device with the US FDA. Micron Technologies has registered as both a manufacturer and distributor of medical devices.  

RedHill Biopharma Ltd (NASDAQ:RDHL) revealed that it has increased unrestricted national and regional commercial coverage for its flagship drug Talicia – a three-drug combination of omeprazole magnesium, amoxicillin and rifabutin – to more than 40 million additional Americans, to treat Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infections in adults. The Tel Aviv, Israel and Raleigh, North Carolina-based specialty biopharmaceutical company is primarily focused on gastrointestinal and infectious diseases. “The unrestricted commercial coverage achieved for Talicia to date far exceeds our expectations at such an early stage following the product's launch. We continue to work diligently to increase unrestricted coverage of Talicia, in an effort to make a significant difference in ending sub-optimal treatment of H. pylori," said RedHill Chief Commercial Officer Rick Scruggs.

PyroGenesis Canada Inc (TSE:PYR) (OTCQB:PYRNF) (FRA:8PY) reported that its Board of Directors has approved the company’s decision to file an application to list its common shares on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange. PyroGenesis said its shares should start trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol “PYR” during the first quarter of 2021, barring any delays or objections. The company will maintain its Toronto Stock Exchange listing.

American Manganese Inc (CVE:AMY) announced Tuesday that it has begun work on the Wenden Stockpile project that was awarded by the US Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The project centers in the US government’s manganese ore stockpile located near Wenden, Arizona and confirms the viability of efficient electrolytic manganese metal (EMM) production using the company’s patented manganese process. The material will undergo internal and external assays, followed by a laboratory bench-scale testing campaign to provide flowsheet proof of concept and process tailings characterization. A final technical report will be issued detailing test procedures and recommendations for a potential future processing facility.

BetterLife Pharma Inc (CSE:BETR) (OTCQB: BETRF) (FRA:NPAU) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the assets in the biotechnology company Transcend Biodynamics LLC, the company announced Tuesday, adding its LSD derivative BOL-148 to the BetterLife pipeline. BetterLife paid C$10 million in an all-stock deal, which amounted to 13.3 million shares at C$0.75 per share. BOL-148 is a nontoxic second-generation LSD-derived molecule that mimics the therapeutic potential of LSD, without the psychedelic effects or hallucinations, the company said.

Goldseek Resources Inc (CSE:GSK) (CNSX:GSK.CN) announced that it has commenced its maiden 1200 metre (m) drill program at the Bonanza Property, which is part of Quebec’s Urban Barry mining camp. The company’s current drill campaign follows the completion of an IP geophysical ground survey, which defined geophysical conductors and chargeable anomalies on the Bonanza Property.

Western Magnesium Corporation (CVE:WMG) (FRA:M1V) (OTCMKTS:MLYF) announced Tuesday that it is creating a sales and corporate partnerships division. The company said the new division will lead the process of formally engaging with companies in the various industries, such as automotive, aerospace, and eco-friendly technology companies as well as the US government and the Department of Defense that have a vested interest in the production of magnesium metal. In a statement, Western Magnesium said Michael Pickholz, a mechanical engineer with over 30 years’ experience in product development, program management, domestic and international automotive business development, will lead the new division. 

Benchmark Metals Inc (CVE:BNCH) (OTCQX:BNCHF) announced Tuesday that it has intercepted the deepest-ever gold-silver mineralization on the Cliff Creek deposit at its Lawyers project in British Columbia. The drill hole intersected significant mineralization at 425 metres below surface, extending the depth of the deposit by around 50 metres below the base of the open pit model to a depth of around 500 metres. Intersections include 4.3 metres at 22.6 grams per ton (g/t) gold and 1,036 g/t silver or 35.5 g/t gold equivalent, and 15 metres of 7 g/t gold and 307.9 g/t silver for 10.9 g/t gold equivalent.

Genprex Inc (NASDAQ:GNPX) said it has successfully completed the technology transfer of its manufacturing process for the production of its REQORSA immunogene therapy from the major cancer research institution where it was previously manufactured to experienced, commercial Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs). The clinical-stage gene therapy company, which is focused on developing life-changing therapies for patients with cancer and diabetes, said the completed technology transfer marks a significant achievement for it. For the first time, REQORSA was manufactured at commercial scale in a current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliant facility, outside of the research institution where it was discovered.

Binovi Technologies Corp (CVE:VISN) (OTCQB:BNVIF) (FRA:2EYA), a leader in vision performance technology, announced on Tuesday that it has struck a binding share purchase agreement to acquire private firm VERA (Visual Efficiency Rating), its patents, intellectual property, and inventory, to expand Binovi’s vision technology stack as it executes on its global commercialization strategy.  Binovi, which has offices in Toronto and New York, said it will issue around 13.390 million shares, equivalent to nearly C$3.350 million, at a price of C$0.25 to VERA shareholders. The all-stock deal is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. To complete the transaction, Binovi will also issue 267,800 shares to an arms-length third-party who assisted in putting the deal together.

African Gold Group Inc (CVE:AGG) (OTCMKTS:AGGFF) (FRA:3A61) reported more high-grade gold results from the ongoing drill campaign at its flagship Kobada Gold Project in Mali, which included 46.10 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 1.0 metre (m) and 4.86 g/t gold over 17.0m from a depth of 64.0m to 81.0m. The company said the results continue to show far deeper than expected extensions of the oxide orebody at depth, as well as additional mineralized zones outside of the known ore zones. It added that the current drill campaign is targeting highly prospective extensions to strike length, and conversion of Inferred oxides to Measured & Indicated ounces.

AEX Gold Inc. (LON:AEXG) (CVE:AEX) said it has been granted a new Mineral Exploration Licence in South Greenland by the Mineral Licence and Safety Authority (MLSA). The independent gold company with a portfolio of gold licences in the country said the licence, Kangerluarsuk (MEL 2021-02), covers 335 square kilometres in South Greenland and is considered highly prospective for multiple commodities including gold, copper, zinc and molybdenum.

Pacton Gold Inc (CVE:PAC) (OTCPINK:PACXF) (FRA:2NKN) has arranged financing to raise up to C$3 million. Under the fund-raising scheme, the company will offer 2 million flow-through shares (FT Shares) at C$1 each for total gross proceeds of C$2 million and a private placement of 1,111,111 units at C$0.90 each, for total gross proceeds of C$1 million. Each unit consists of one common share and one transferable share purchase warrant exercisable into one additional common share for C$1.25 per share.  The gross proceeds from the FT Shares will be used for Canadian Exploration Expenses and will qualify as "flow-through mining expenditures," under the country’s tax laws. The proceeds from the issuance of units will be used for general working capital.

Tocvan Ventures Corp (CSE:TOC) (FRA:TV3) on Tuesday provided shareholders with an update for its maiden drill program at the Pilar Gold-Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico. Phase I of the program plans for up to 1,500 meters (m) of reverse circulation (RC) drilling, utilizing one drill rig at the Pilar Main Zone. The company announced the start of the drill program in early December. Tocvan said field crews were able to mobilize so rapidly to start drilling and have already completed 400m of the program in three drill holes. Assay results are expected early in 2021.
