Canaccord Genuity has initiated a Buy rating on Maverix Metals Inc (TSE:MMX) (NYSEAMERICAN:MMX) (FRA:7781) with a C$8 price target. The analyst firm noted that it estimates that the precious metal-focused royalty company -- with a portfolio of over 100 royalties and streams in various stages from exploration to production -- will generate $52 million in revenue in 2021 at a roughly 90% operating margin. Analysts also noted that Maverix’s shares -- since the company’s inception in 2016 -- have increased at a 28% compound annual growth rate (CAGR). As a result, its shares have outperformed the CAGRs of gold (+9%), its royalty peers (+12%), and the S&P/TSX Gold index (+7%).

Alpine 4 Technologies Ltd (OTCQB:ALPP) announced today that Vayu, one of its drone subsidiaries, is making a run at the world record for drone flight distance using its autonomous delivery G1 vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft. The Vayu team will be heading to Equatorial Guinea in the coming weeks to achieve this accomplishment, the company said. The plan is to fly the G1 aircraft from the port city of Bata to the island of Bioko approximately 128 miles away. For good measure, Vayu then plans to fly the G1 from Bioko Island to Annobon Island, a roughly 364 mile-journey. The previous longest known drone flight was recorded in 2017 with a fixed wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) by a Nevada UAS Consortium and spanned 97 miles.

Silvercorp Metals Inc (NYSEAMERICAN:SVM) (TSE:SVM) (FRA:S9Y), the China-focused metals miner, has posted a 33% increase in income and a 20% uptick in revenue for its fiscal third quarter. For the three months to end-December 2020, the group reported net income of US$8.4 million, or US$0.05 per share, compared to US$6.3 million, or US$0.04 a share, in the same period a year earlier. Revenue in the quarter came in at US$53.3 million, up from US$44.5 million in fiscal Q3, 2020.

Real Luck Group Ltd (CVE:LUCK) has welcomed news that gambling apps will be available for download in the Google Play Store in 15 additional countries, starting on March 1. Real Luck Group said its platform is built to be mobile-friendly, with about 50% of the company’s traffic coming via mobile users. Thus, the addition of a mobile app, allows operators an improved connection with customers, such as real-time notifications, deeper integration with devices and additional security features.

Victory Resources Corporation (CSE:VR) (FRA:VR61) (OTCPINK:VRCFF) reported Friday that its permit application process is advancing after receiving an "Acknowledgement of Receipt of Exploration Notice and Reclamation Cost Estimate" from the Bureau of Land Management of the Winnemucca District Office in Nevada. In response to the acknowledgement letter, the company said it has submitted the required payment guarantee for the bond to secure the permit to drill the Loner Property. "Our exploration team has made tremendous progress, completing the preparatory work required to finalize all elements of drilling program operations plan, including the engagement of drilling services and submission of the permit application," said CEO David Lane in a statement. 

The Valens Company (TSE:VLNS) (OTCQX:VLNCF) (FRA:7LV) gave shareholders an update on its progress at its two operational facilities in British Columbia and Ontario on Friday. The manufacturer cannabis derivatives said in a statement that it had started its first shipments of cannabis derivative products from its new K2 facility in Kelowna, which manufactures white label and custom products. Valens told shareholders that it plans to make even more operational improvements at the 42,000-square foot facility to boost production, packaging and shipping of its existing portfolio as well as some upcoming product formats like hash and pre-rolls. 

Canada Silver Cobalt Works Inc (CVE:CCW) (OTCMKTS:CCWOF) (FRA:4T9B) has reported high-grade silver assays from sonic drilling at the historic Beaver mine - one of the company's assets in the cobalt camp in the Gowganda district of Ontario.  The company said 127 holes were completed for 354 metres (m) and assays range between a minimum of 13.7 grams per ton (g/t) and 314 g/t of silver from 378 samples, which were tested.

AIM ImmunoTech Inc (NYSEAMERICAN:AIM) (FRA:HXB2) said it has completed its At-The-Market (ATM) facility and close the ATM’s Equity Distribution Agreement (EDA). The company, which focuses on developing therapies to treat multiple types of cancers, immune disorders, and viral diseases, including coronavirus (COVID-19), said it believes, based on its current financial condition, that it has adequate funds to meet its anticipated operational cash needs and fund its current clinical trials over approximately the next 24 months.

American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC), a raw materials supplier, announced Friday that American Acquisition Opportunity Inc (AAOI), a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) the company is indirectly invested in, has filed with the SEC, to undergo an IPO of its units. AAOI will target a platform-building acquisition in the landholdings and resources industry that generates current revenues from its legacy industries, the company said, with a predominant focus on natural resources. The SPAC’s goal is to look beyond the target’s current business model and pursue a growth industry of clean energies, social impact and new industries, such as recycling and redevelopment, the company said. 

GR Silver Mining Ltd (CVE:GRSL) said the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing the company's proposal to issue 141,097 shares at a deemed price of 74 cents per share to settle outstanding debt for $104,412 with one creditor.
