She will replace Lana Coronado as chair from the beginning of next month as Coronado is stepping down.
Manning has previously been the chair of UK-ASEAN Business Council (UKABC), which promotes trade and investment between the UK and ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nations), working closely with government ministers and embassies to promote UK innovation and expertise.
"It is an honour and privilege to become the new non-executive chairperson for MBH and I look forward to the many opportunities that lie ahead. I would like to pay particular thanks to Lana Coronado who made a significant positive impact in the role and with everyone that she connected with," Manning said.
Coronado said she was stepping down for personal reasons but pledged to remain the company’s “greatest cheerleader”.
"Being part of MBH for the past year has been a rewarding experience and it has been a pleasure to partner with so many talented individuals that represent the MBH Group companies,” Coronado said.
