Vistry agreed to take over rival Countryside Properties in a deal worth £1.25bn. The cash and share offer totals about 249p a share and marks a 9.1% premium to Countryside’s closing price on Friday.
Technology Minerals said Recyclus, its 49%-owned battery recycling business, received approval from the UK’s Environmental Agency to recycle car batteries at its Tipton plant in the Midlands. Up to 15,000 metric tonnes of lead per year will be allowed to be produced.
