Deal with Gulf Aviation is a great door-opener says Westminster Group’s Peter Fowler

Westminster Group PLC’s alliance with Bahrain-based training group Gulf Aviation Academy is of major strategic importance to the company says chief executive Peter Fowler.

“That’s far more important than potential revenues,” he says.

“What we are doing is training the senior management in exactly the areas where we are looking to expand our managed services contracts business.”

Fowler is also excited by the huge potential in Saudi Arabia, where the group has just signed a joint venture with local company Hazar and also at Tema, where the container port has just opened.

With all that is going on Westminster is very undervalued, he believes.
