West Wits Mining is a gold production and exploration company with its main production in the Witwatersrand basin in South Africa and exploration sites in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The South African project has just had a significant upgrade to its Kimberley Reef within the Witwatersrand Project which will take the company to being a mid-tier producer by early next year.
“At the Wits we have current production, we are cashflow positive, we are looking to double that production over the next few months and then early next year… we feel that we can become a 30,000 ounce producer per annum, and once we get underground we will scale it up to 70,000 – 100,000 ounces” says the company’s exploration director Andrew Tunks.
