Timothy Collins has worked in the financial industry since 1999 spending time as a financial advisor and, later, a hedge fund manger. Currently, he trades his own account while contributing investment views on several of the largest financial websites. A regular contributor to CNBC's Mad Money Off the Charts segment, Collins employs both fundamental and technical analysis in his methodology.
Collins is a graduate of McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College), with degrees in business administration, economics and sociology and is a winner of the Bates Prize. He lives in Austin, TX with his wife, 3 children, and 3 dogs.
