Fineqia launches Bitcoin yield ETP on Vienna Stock Exchange

Fineqia International Inc (CSE:FNQ, OTC:FNQQF) has announced the launch of a new Bitcoin-based investment product, the Fineqia Bitcoin Yield Exchange Traded Product (ETP), under the ticker symbol YBTC.
The product is listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange and aims to provide investors with the ability to earn additional Bitcoin through decentralized finance (DeFi) activities, while maintaining full exposure to Bitcoin.
YBTC is designed to target an annual yield of 6%, which is converted into additional Bitcoin holdings.
The company highlighted that, unlike traditional Bitcoin ETPs that passively track the asset’s price, YBTC employs DeFi strategies such as lending and liquidity provisioning to generate yield.
The resulting Bitcoin yield is automatically reinvested, allowing holders to increase their BTC position over time without the need for further capital input.
The product is available to both institutional and retail investors and is structured to comply with regulatory standards.
According to Fineqia, YBTC is the first exchange-traded, regulated instrument globally to offer Bitcoin yield through DeFi protocols.
"With YBTC, we've transformed Bitcoin from a store of value into a yield-generating digital asset," Fineqia CEO Bundeep Singh Rangar said in a statement.
"It allows investors to earn more Bitcoin while they hold it, combining long-term conviction with compounding returns, all inside a regulated wrapper."
YBTC is issued by Fineqia AG, the company’s Liechtenstein-based subsidiary. Psalion Operations Ltd, a blockchain investment firm, acts as the advisor.
The product supports in-kind transfers, meaning existing Bitcoin holders can move their holdings into the ETP without incurring conversion costs.
Fineqia has previously launched the Fineqia FTSE Cardano Enhanced Yield ETN (Ticker: YADA), with the launch of YBTC further expanding its portfolio of yield-focused digital asset offerings.
