American Rare Earths Ltd (ASX:ARR, OTCQB:ARRNF) has reported significant progress at its Halleck Creek Rare Earths Project in Wyoming during the June 2025 quarter, highlighted by high-grade results from Phase 1 sampling at its Cowboy State Mine (CSM) and key developments in permitting and corporate activities.
High-grade results support resource growth at CSM
The company completed 106 channel samples at CSM, with standout results including 1.37% Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) from drillhole CSM-08. The average grade across all samples was 3,661 ppm TREO, with high magnet rare earth oxides (MREO) and heavy rare earth oxides (HREO) levels reported. These results confirm the potential for further resource expansion at CSM as the company works towards an updated resource model.
Expansion potential with Bluegrass and County Line sampling
Further sampling at the Bluegrass and County Line target areas returned promising results. Bluegrass showed an average TREO of 3,333 parts per million (ppm), with the highest-grade sample reaching 7,112 ppm. County Line, with its dike-hosted material, demonstrated strong HREO content, with samples averaging 2,246 ppm TREO.
Key permitting milestone reached at CSM
ARR also achieved a key permitting milestone, completing the installation of 10 groundwater monitoring wells at CSM. The data collected will support future mine permitting and the company’s upcoming Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS).
Corporate update and strong financial backing
In July, the company secured an A$15 million equity investment, strengthening its financial position to support ongoing development. With a pro-forma cash position of approximately A$23 million post-placement, ARR is well-positioned to advance its Halleck Creek project.
Looking ahead
ARR plans to continue its exploration efforts, with follow-up drilling and metallurgical test work planned for the September 2025 quarter. The company will also focus on advancing its permitting process and resource expansion.
