Snail Games USA Chief Financial Officer Heidy Chow joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company’s financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026, highlighting strong revenue growth and a return to profitability.

Snail Games USA reported net revenue of $27.3 million for the quarter, representing a 35.7% increase compared to $20.1 million in the same period last year. The growth was primarily driven by stronger contributions from ASA and Bellwright, which added approximately $4.2 million and $2.1 million in revenue respectively, along with a $2.5 million increase in deferred revenue recognized during the quarter. These gains were partially offset by lower revenue from ARK Mobile and ASE.

The company also delivered a significant improvement in profitability. EBITDA increased 173.3% to $2.4 million compared to a loss of $3.2 million in the prior-year quarter. Net income rose to $2.1 million versus a net loss of $1.9 million a year earlier.

Management attributed the improved bottom line primarily to the $7.2 million increase in net revenue and a reduction in operating expenses, partially offset by higher taxes and increased cost of revenues.
Operationally, total units sold climbed 42.6% to 2.2 million units, up from 1.5 million in the comparable period last year. The increase was largely driven by an increase in ARK franchise IPs and Bellwright. ASA in particular sold 1.4 million during the first quarter of 2026.

The company has several exciting updates planned for ASA in the coming months, which includes a Fantastic Tames Season 1 Expansion Pack in May and the release of ARK Tides of Fortune DLC and ARK Genesis Part 1 in June. The release of ARK Genesis Part 1 on ASA will allow the company to recognize approximately $11 million in revenue deferred from its revenue balance at the time of release.

Looking ahead, Snail USA expects its revenue mix to continue evolving alongside the planned launches of several new AAA titles, including For the Stars, Nine Yin Sutra Immortal, and Nine Yin Sutra Wushu. These titles are being built with the production scope, depth, and marketing scale required to potentially compete in the same tier as the ARK IP and deliver multi-year to multi-decade lifespan.
The company also noted that multiple gaming events are scheduled throughout 2026, where additional updates on upcoming titles are expected to be shared.
