Aftermath Silver Ltd (TSX-V:AAG, OTCQX:AAGFF, FRA:FLM1) reported new assay results from its Phase 3 diamond drill program at Berenguela, with several holes returning high-grade intercepts of silver and copper from shallow depths.

Among the highlights from the silver-copper-manganese deposit in southern Peru, hole AFD165 returned 33.2 metres grading 394 grams per tonne silver, 1.19% copper, and 6.4% manganese from 46.1 metres downhole.

Hole AFD170 intersected 37.8 metres at 150 g/t silver, 1.65% copper and 26.3% manganese from surface, while hole AFD164 returned 25.3 metres at 184 g/t silver, 1.39% copper and 19.1% manganese, also from surface.

The current program targets infill drilling along a 225-metre strike length within the boundaries of its existing mineral resource estimate and is designed to delineate high-grade mineralization for a potential starter pit and to support an ongoing prefeasibility study.

CEO Ralph Rushton told shareholders infill drilling of the resource area covering the potential starter pits is now complete, adding that the program had confirmed high-grade silver and copper mineralization defined in the 2025 mineral resource estimate.

"Copper results from these holes were elevated, once again showing the multiple potential value generators from Berenguela," Rushton said in a statement.

The company said drilling is now temporarily shifting to geotechnical holes required for the prefeasibility study.

Following that phase, Aftermath plans to investigate high-grade copper mineralization at the eastern end of the mineral resource, where drill road construction is required, as well as a southwest intrusive/skarn copper target where surface sampling has returned anomalous copper values over approximately two kilometres of strike length.

Aftermath said it has completed 15,540 metres of core drilling across three phases at Berenguela. Assay results for the remaining 15 holes in the current campaign are expected to be reported shortly.

Aftermath Silver launches drilling at Berenguela and Challacollo Projects
