Quadrise says progress continues toward Valkor deployment

Quadrise PLC (AIM:QED) said the deployment of equipment for its Valkor project in Utah has slipped into the third quarter, as the company waits on the commissioning of Valkor’s oil-sands pilot plant and payment of an outstanding licence fee.

The AIM-listed fuel technology group said progress continues towards pilot deployment and commercial demonstration of its upstream production model. Quadrise equipment is ready for deployment, while representative heavy sweet oil samples have been prepared in Valkor’s new pilot plant ahead of MSAR and bioMSAR formulation work.

Valkor’s 500-barrel-per-day oil-sands pilot plant is now due to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2026. As a result, Quadrise said it will not deliver its 600 bpd Multifuel Manufacturing Unit to the site by 30 June as previously indicated, with delivery now expected during the third quarter.

Quadrise also said no further licence fee payments have been received since its 28 November 2025 announcement. US$0.95 million of the US$1.0 million fee payable by Valkor remains outstanding while Valkor awaits approved project funding, with Quadrise now expecting full payment by 30 September 2026.
