Virtuix Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:VTIX) has launched Omni One for Quest, a plug-and-play integration that makes its omnidirectional treadmill compatible with Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3 headsets, significantly expanding the Austin-based company's addressable market.

The product has received "Made for Meta" certification and will be featured in the Meta Store, giving Virtuix access to the world's largest XR user base.

Meta has sold more than 20 million Quest headsets to date, with industry estimates pointing to approximately six million active users.

The system allows users to physically walk, run, crouch, strafe, and jump in 360 degrees inside Meta Quest games and fitness apps. It connects automatically to existing Quest headsets without additional hardware or setup, removing a key barrier to adoption.

Virtuix CEO Jan Goetgeluk described the launch as a major milestone and a "big catalyst" for the consumer side of the business. "This launch significantly expands Omni One's addressable market and brings our full-body movement platform to the world's largest XR ecosystem," he said.

The platform launches with titles including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, VAIL, and The Boys, with additional compatible games planned over time.

Goetgeluk said Virtuix intends to grow the game library by leveraging the extensive catalogue already available on the Quest platform.

Beyond gaming, the product is being marketed as a fitness tool. Described as the "Peloton for Gamers," Omni One allows players to burn up to 700 calories per hour during active gameplay. Goetgeluk highlighted the health dimension as central to the product's appeal, noting that one customer reported losing 40 pounds over four months of use.

“It's the next level of immersion,” the CEO said. “You can't get this experience any other way.”

The device holds an average customer rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars and won the 2025 Auggie Award for Best VR Interaction Product.

Goetgeluk said the consumer segment has already been generating double-digit growth, and management expects the Quest compatibility launch to accelerate that trajectory. “We've already been reporting double-digit growth on the consumer side, and this launch will supercharge that growth and take the consumer business to the next level.”

Virtuix's locomotion technology is protected by 26 US patents, with additional patents pending.

The consumer momentum comes alongside a growing US defense footprint, with Virtuix recently securing funding and contracts across all major branches of the US military, including the Air Force, Marine Corps, Army, and Navy.
