Love Hemp Group PLC announced several board and management changes with immediate effect, as well as an update to its suspension of trading on the AQSE Growth Market.

The role of executive chairman, presently held by Andrew Male, has been eliminated, with Male becoming a non-executive director.

Graham Mullis is moving from the role of independent non-executive director to non-executive chairman for the brand-led consumer goods company focused on CBD health and wellness solutions.

Garry Cook has resigned as chair of the Audit Committee and will be replaced by Anthony Dyer, an FCCA qualified, experienced Euronext and AIM-listed chief financial officer (CFO) and director.

An interim managing director was also appointed, reporting to CEO Tony Calamita, as the AQSE-listed company continues to search for a third independent non-executive director and permanent CFO.

“These board and management changes will help the company move forward and maximise its opportunities,” Mullis said.

Love Hemp's shares were suspended on 3 May after its AQSE corporate adviser resigned. Discussions for the replacement have begun, so the suspension can be lifted, the company added.
